Tenth Amendment to Guarantee the Second?

Or Is It a Mutual Support Agreement?

The "Fast and Furious" Gunwalker mess could lead to the Federal Government proposing and imposing tighter gun regulations; perhaps attempts to ban guns all together.

Will the individual sovereign states bare the teeth of the Tenth Amendment; its invocation securing our right to bear arms?

The Second Amendment which has been referred to as the "enforcer amendment" by the late former president of the NRA, Charlton Heston, may well be the salvation of the Tenth and the rest of the Bill of Rights, The Constitution, our Freedom, and Our Liberty.

Time Will Tell...

Stop National Defense Authorization Act Section 1031 Citizen Imprisonment Law

Stop National Defense Authorization Act Section 1031 Citizen Imprisonment Law

To Congress and the President of the United States of America:

Please stop the NDAA Section 1031 Citizen Imprisonment law including the dangerously misleading Feinstein Amendment 1031(e). I am doing everything in my power to spread this petition and contact the media, my Senator, Representative, and President in the next few days before December 13, 2011. To this end, I have signed the following petition.

----------------
Stop National Defense Authorization Act Section 1031 Citizen Imprisonment Law

The President is about to sign a law that makes it so we can be imprisoned for life without evidence or a trial -- as soon as Dec. 13. This law is called NDAA Section 1031. Some people are saying he will veto it, or that the law as written has no effect for citizens, but they are terribly mistaken. Get familiar with the facts at the bottom of this petition. This video contains proof that his administration were the ones who requested citizen imprisonment:

We have only a few days to speak up before the President approves NDAA Section 1031, permitting citizen imprisonment without evidence or a trial. Congress has already passed it overwhelmingly. They were scheduled to give it to him to sign on December 9, but they delayed giving us a small window of time to quickly alert the media and each other. We need people to know the facts listed at the bottom of this petition.

If we act urgently to raise awareness among our friends, family, and colleagues, we can still prevent this. Here is what we can do:

1) Americans must know about this to stop it. Urgently spread this petition as widely as possible. Contact the media by any means available to you. In your correspondence, include the facts listed at the bottom of this petition.

2) Congress can still block the law before December 13. Write and call your Representative and Senator telling them to stop NDAA Section 1031. Again, mention the facts listed at the bottom of this petition.
- Contact your Representative at
http://writerep.house.gov/writerep/
- Contact your Senator at
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

3) Write and call the White House to tell the President you won't sit by and watch NDAA Section 1031 become law. http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/submit-questions-and-comments

4) Stay smart! Here's a list of the most common points of confusion. Too many journalists are still confused about these facts -- please let them know:

- The bill passed by Congress absolutely DOES NOT exempt citizens. Section 1031 reads, "A covered person under this section" includes "any person who has committed a belligerent act".

- The Feinstein Amendment 1031(e) is dangerously misleading. Don't be fooled: In the text of 1031(e), "Nothing in this section shall be construed...", the only word that matters is "construed" -- the Supreme Court are the only ones with the power to construe the law. The Feinstein Amendment 1031(e) permits citizens to be imprisoned without evidence or a trial forever, if the Supreme Court does not EXPLICITLY repeal 1031.

- Confusingly, Obama threatened a veto for 1032, but NOT 1031. 1032 is UNRELATED to imprisoning citizens without a trial. Obama has never suggested using a veto to stop Section 1031 citizen imprisonment. In fact, applying Section 1031 to citizens was requested by the Obama administration: See the video proof here.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLiKvSz_wX8

Debate with a "Conservative" Concerning Ron Paul

An exchange on a Facebook page.

I am respectful of peoples privacy, so i have changed the name of my debate partner to "name-removed"

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
name-removed   posted to
Ron Paul had his A$$ handed to him ...he should drop out now

    • Sal Eaglekeeper  How is that?

    • name-removed   Was at pitiful performance in last night's debate. His vision and ideas are just like him, old and out of date

    • Sal Eaglekeeper   you prefer a more "progressive" vision then?

    • name-removed   NO, not at all, A true Conservative vision, unlike Paul'sNeoLiberal view

    • Sal Eaglekeeper   ahh.. so... which neo-con do you support... ?? You do realize that anyone of the other candidates you support will be a vote for the status quo and nothing will change.. correct?

    • Sal Eaglekeeper    And they we can just wait around for them to just pass some more UNCONSTITUTIONAL laws....

    • Sal Eaglekeeper   I can do that too.... Don't even talk about consistency:

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAulpWLZC2Y

    • name-removed I don't have a candidate yet, but you can be sure it won't be some brain-dead libertarian

    • Sal Eaglekeeper That is your option, and your right.. FYI, he was originally Republican, which is what he is now,.. he had once joined the libertarian party to become a 3rd party candidate because the status quo wouldn't give airtime to him and So you know... If you are happy as a "conservative" of continually trashed liberties and unconstitutional laws, and now... traitors in the Sebnate and the House voting to take away your Constitutional rights... then have at it.. pick whatever staus quo candidate you want to.. as I said.. it is your right as an American....

At least it is for now.....

    • Sal Eaglekeeper All you need for proof of Congressional treason... Just look at the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012... 93 senators, and 336 house members, all voted to let the military take you away....without charge, with trial, indefinite detention.. All they have to say is they think you are a threat to the US...

    • Sal Eaglekeeper that is.. "without trial"

    • Sal Eaglekeeper Which "braindead" policy would you like your neo-cons to maintain... the Fed? socialist implemented "capitalism"? Big Banking Control of Congressional Policy....?? Corporate Fascism... Would you like me to go on????

I am really interested on your thoughts... bring it...

NDAA 2012 and the Fed intiative to Battle Violent Extremism in the US

From NPR
"The 20-page White House strategy — entitled "Strategic Implementation Plan for Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States" — puts some meat on a bare-bones outline the administration released four months ago. In that August dispatch, the White House laid out broad initiatives for preventing the spread of violent extremism in the United States. That plan, just seven pages long, was criticized for being thin on details."

 From Business Insider:
Every soldier that enlists in the Army chooses a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). Designated by a number and a letter, the 31E MOS now includes advanced responsibilities including command and control of prisoner of war and civilian internee camps.
While the civilian designation likely applies to foreign nationals in their home countries, it reads more ominously now that the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is getting nods from legislators as it makes its way through the Senate.

Treason Day (T-Day) 11/30/2011

I have decided to commemorate this memorable day in American History as T-Day.

Henceforce when I hear "T-Day" I will always remember November 30th, 2012  as Treason Day; the day our Senate deliberately tore The U.S. Constitution in half, and challenged us to do something about it.

On T-Day +3, we are seeing the opposition to this illegal bill beginning to rise among The People.

S. 1867: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012

112th Congress: 2011-2012
Oppose 3%
Support 97%

An original bill to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2012 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes.
Sponsor: Sen. Carl Levin [D-MI]

Status: This bill has been passed in the Senate. Next: The bill goes on to be voted on in the House. Explanation: Keep in mind that debate may be taking place on a companion bill in the House, rather than on this particular bill. [Last Updated: Dec 2, 2011 6:23AM]

Senate OKs indefinite detention of American citizens without charges Provision

Senate OKs Controversial Detainee Provision, Setting Up Fight With White House

Senate OKs Controversial Detainee Provision, Setting Up Fight With White House

The Senate soundly defeated a move to strip out controversial language requiring mandatory detention of some terror suspects, voting it down 61 to 37 and escalating a fight with the Obama administration over the future course of the war on terror.

The proposed amendment to the massive National Defense Authorization Act would require the FBI and other civilian law enforcement agencies to transfer al-Qaida suspects arrested overseas on charges of planning or carrying out a terror attack into military custody. It wouldn’t apply to American citizens, but the change has drawn strong opposition from civil rights groups and the White House, which has promised to veto the defense bill if that language was included.

America's Unique Fascism

from LewRockwell.com. "America's Unique Fascism"
Up and down the economy, at all levels of government, bureaucrats and planners dictate details in nearly all areas of economic behavior, with the principle that some sectors should simply be free of government intrusion having been totally discarded. If we have large swaths of economic liberty in America, and we do, this is by accident, or merely due to the state's institutional limits in being able to run everything. The ideological thrust of US economic policy is that we may live our commercial lives freer than in many places, but all upon the good graces of the state, its cartels, licensing boards, and regulatory apparatuses. Even our homes are private property only insofar as it serves the interest of the state, which claims the right to seize anything we own if it bolsters the tax receipts garnered through the state-business nexus. The business environment adheres to a rapidly expanding litany of commercial codes, many of them designed not even by legislature but by executive or judicial fiat. Taken together, this is the essence of economic fascism.

Well There you have it.
Jonah Goldberg stated in his book "Liberal Fascism" that Wilson took from Hindenburgh, and Mussolini and Hitler was hugely interested in the resulting progressive polices of the United States which were in turn integrated into the edicts on National Socialism

Sheriff Mark Gower, Minute Man, Constitutional Guardian

Profiled on OathKeepers.org, Western States Sheriffs Association member Sheriff Mark Gower is a Minute Man in the true sense of the word. A guardian of American's Constitutional Rights, he calls the Federal Government to account for it's encroachments on Liberty.

Oath Keeper Terry Flink shares his thoughts and experiences with Sheriff Gower. The complete article can be found on www.oathkeepers.org:

I posted the following thread on the forum http://www.oathkeepers.net/forum/showthread.php?p=59728#post59728

First, let me give a little background. Sheriff Gower is a humble man who has quietly protected the rights of the citizens of Iron County since 2003. I first met Sheriff Mark Gower at the Oath Keepers conference in Las Vegas in 2009. He spoke about the challenges he was experiencing as a County Sheriff in southern Utah with the overreach of the federal government into his jurisdiction. Specifically the issue was a battle over an endangered prairie dog and private property rights. He came to the conference to share his experiences and he found a group of very supportive and encouraging citizens that would stand with him.

The second time I met Sheriff Gower was at the Freedom Conference in Cedar City in 2010 where he was one of the speakers and used the opportunity to hold a town hall-style meeting. Again, he was soft spoken, but spoke as a staunch advocate of the Constitutional rights of the people and was obviously respected by the people of Iron County. At the end of the conference, several of us Oath Keepers thanked him for his continued support of the Constitution and voiced our continued support for him as the model of what a County Sheriff should be.

The Tenth Amendment Center - Active In Georgia Again

I have accepted the position of State Chapter Coordinator for the Georgia Tenth Amendment Center, rejoining the organization actively after a two year hiatus.

The Tenth Amendment Center has facilitated some fantastic leaps in the cause of Liberty and Freedom, while solidifying understanding among Americans of the power of the Tenth Amendment in countering the abuses and expansions of the Federal government.

Federalism, which was constructed in our Constitution, limits the power Washington can wield over the sovereign states by enumerating the specific powers which it is endowed with to run the country. The Tenth Amendment, the last entry of The Bill of Rights, leaves no question as to the intent of federalism and states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

TAC, The Tenth Amendment Center, works to educate the people, while at the same time develops and introduces proposals of legislation which would help to restore the power of the individual state, and counteract the steady deterioration of the independent state's influence over the entity which was created in The Constitution to serve it and the people.

I am proud and honored to once again be actively engaged in the work of the Tenth Amendment Center as State Chapter Coordinator.

For Freedom and Liberty - A Call For Statesmen

Thomas Jefferson

With the dawning of a new decade, the American People need to reflect on our past greatness, and the restoration of that greatness in the future. As Thomas Jefferson once stated, "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance". The political systems in Washington, the States, and our local governments, are infiltrated with those who would deny the people our country’s greatness and its Beacon of Liberty which  has shone throughout the world since America’s founding.

Our country’s forefathers labored extensively to provide the people a government which would not be under the thumb of a central bureaucracy. Yet, since the turn of the 20th century, the elements of socialism, progressivism and Marxism have worked to undermine our own liberties and freedom, while having us concentrate on being the policeman, and caretaker of the world.

Our country has been stolen from us! The People are no longer in control of their government. Special interest lobbyists pad the pockets of hired gun politicians who were placed there by the dollars generated from purchases by the American people. You buy goods, the mega company makes its money and uses it to find their  ”Golden Boy”  politician. They buy a seat in our “republican” government.

Senators used to be selected by their State's Legislature before the 17th Amendment put them out on the auction block. The respective state's legislative body would appoint their representatives to go to Washington D.C. and be its voice. After the 17th Amendment, they became another resource which could be supported and funded by the special interest groups and mega-corporations. Now dollars can be funneled into the campaigns of those running for senator. They became the voice of the special interest agenda, not an advocate for the needs of the state. These same politicians, once in the seat of power, lay out, propose, and vote in the agendas being paid for by their special interest financiers. The American people, who this so called “statesman” is supposed to represent, is ignored, even though their cries are heard loudly and visually, even on the steps of the Capital in Washington DC.

It is given to us the right, the duty, to call to account those who would bind us in the chains of tyranny. We are to work to identify the individuals, special interests, and lobbyists who are pushing us to be subjugated under the power of an ever increasing central government.

Our call to action is to unite with those who would fight for the cause of Liberty and Freedom by aligning ourselves with  people working to identify and remove the sickness which has corrupted our political system. Let us support statesmen who will represent the People and restore honor to the office. by electing those who would be willing to stand tall against corruption and paid influence. Those who could raise their right hand and swear an oath to uphold the U. S. Constitution and actually do it. Let us get representatives that actually work to fulfill their oath.

For Freedom and Liberty.

Quoting Jefferson again:
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black?

Lesley Swann, Tennessee State Chapter Coordinator for the Tenth Amendment Center,  in her article "What Would Zorro Do?" discusses the labeling of those who stand for justice and freedoms as criminals by those who have trespassed upon the liberties of others.

By demonizing the freedom fighters, the trespassers draw attention away from their ills.

An excerpt from the article discusses the recent hacking attacks against the U.S. Senate website and Sony's Playstation network:

Last Wednesday the FBI arrested 16 suspected members of the hacking group Anonymous. Their crime? Along with another hacktivist group, LulzSec, they hacked into the U.S. Senate web site, hacked various gaming websites and took down the Sony Playstation Network.

“We want to send a message that chaos on the Internet is unacceptable, [even if] hackers can be believed to have social causes, it’s entirely unacceptable to break into websites and commit unlawful acts,” FBI Deputy Assistant Director Steve Chabinsky said after the arrests.

Anonymous and LulzSec released a response to Mr. Chabinsky.:

Now let us be clear here, Mr. Chabinsky, while we understand that you and your colleagues may find breaking into websites unacceptable, let us tell you what WE find unacceptable:

  • Governments lying to their citizens and inducing fear and terror to keep them in control by dismantling their freedom piece by piece.
  • Corporations aiding and conspiring with said governments while taking advantage at the same time by collecting billions of funds for federal contracts we all know they can’t fulfil.
  • Lobby conglomerates who only follow their agenda to push the profits higher, while at the same time being deeply involved in governments around the world with the only goal to infiltrate and corrupt them enough so the status quo will never change.
These governments and corporations are our enemy. And we will continue to fight them, with all methods we have at our disposal, and that certainly includes breaking into their websites and exposing their lies.

They go on further to say, “You see, most people do not behave like bandits if they have no reason to. We become bandits on the Internet because you have forced our hand.”

My question is : At what point is one who is working for "good" determined to be "bad"? The Pot Calling The Kettle Black?

Many who are working to stand for the freedoms and liberties granted by the US Constitution have been demonized and made out to be the "bad" guys. The fact remains that they have chosen to stand against what they see as corruption in government, business, and the system as a whole, and are not willing to back down.

It is interesting that Anonymous went so far as to label them "enemy" as you would name your adversary during wartime.

As for the current battle against our freedoms, many more need be called to arms for engagement in the information war, getting the word out to the citizen voters that we are being deceived by those we have empowered and that changes need to be made across the board.

Another possible action could be coordinating boycotts of the companies who fuel the engines of deception in our government.
